What to Expect During Your Initial Consultation
Initial Consultations are scheduled with our Functional Medicine Providers.
Plan for a total of 2-3 hours to complete our initial process at our office. For virtual initial appointments plan for 2 hours.
Please come 15 minutes before your appointment time to check in and do vitals.
Initial Consultation Process:
- Vitals and InBody Composition Analysis (15 min)
- Initial Consultation with Provider (60 min)
- Post Initial with Patient Concierge to review Providers plan (30 min)
- New Patient Testing with Lab (60 min if at the office. Virtual patients will be set up with home testing)
All patients are required to join our Patient Portal. Appointment reminders, practice updates, and personal messages to your Care Team will be delivered via our Patient Portal.
Testing, treatments, and supplements are not included in the initial consultation fee.
What to Expect During Your IV Consultation
New patients require an IV consultation with one of our Providers before they receive treatment. The IV consultation is 30 minutes. We do not accept insurance for IV services.
All patients are required to join our Patient Portal. Appointment reminders, practice updates, and personal messages to your Care Team will be delivered via our Patient Portal.
What to Expect During Your Medical Marijuana Consultation
Initial Visit (1 hour)
- Full medical assessment to evaluate for qualification of certification for NY State Medical Marijuana Program
- Counseling on risks and benefits of Medical Cannabis
- Counseling on how to use medication, how to register for NYS, and how to manage potential side effects
- Electronic Certification to NYS Department of Health and initial recommendation
1st Follow up visit (30 minutes)
- 1 month from start of new medication
- Evaluate medical efficacy, adjust dosing, and manage side effects
- New recommendation to NYS DOH and dispensary
- Ongoing collaboration with patient’s other physicians, as well as, cannabis dispensary pharmacist
- New recommendations if needed
Subsequent Follow Up Visit (30 minutes)
- Minimum every 3 months for stable clinical status and dosing regimen
- Not stable dosing regimen may need more frequent follow ups
- New recommendations if needed
