Sara Miller, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Sara Miller is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with a strong passion for functional medicine. She’s worked as an NP in General Neurology treating patients with conditions such as acute stroke, epilepsy, neurodegenerative disorders, and neuropathy. Prior to becoming an NP, she spent 8 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of clinical areas including Emergency Medicine, Cardiovascular and Critical Care. Following a functional approach to improving her own health, she has learned the importance of treating the whole patient by utilizing personalized root-cause medicine. Sara sees her patients as unique beings and is committed to helping guide them down the right path to achieve their goals and ultimately health optimization.

Sara graduated from Mount Saint Mary College with a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2021. She is currently training to become a board certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Sara loves spending time in nature with her husband, daughter and Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Griz. She enjoys hiking, meditating, live-music and tending to her large vegetable garden and fruit trees. She has a special interest in mind-body therapies and nutrition.
