NAD+

NAD+ Overview

What is NAD?

NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a coenzyme found in all living cells, and it’s required for the fundamental biological processes that make life possible. But NAD+ levels decline as we age. NAD+ has two general sets of reactions in the human body: helping turn nutrients into energy as a key player in metabolism and working as a helper molecule for proteins that regulate other biological activity. These processes are incredibly important because they are responsible for regulating oxidative stress and circadian rhythms while maintaining the health of DNA and keeping humans healthier for longer.

What does NAD do?
  • NAD increases the energy in brain and heart cells.

  • Protects and repairs DNA, reducing DNA mutations which contribute to atherosclerosis, cancer, immunodeficiency, rheumatoid arthritis, and much more

  • The “most powerful antioxidant” in the body according to Dr. Richard Passwater in his book NADH-The Energizing Coenzyme

  • Lowers cholesterol

  • Lowers blood pressure

  • Strengthens the immune system

  • Stimulates production of dopamine, serotonin, and noradrenaline, thereby improving moods

  • Stimulates nitric oxide production, thereby improving blood flow in the body

What medical conditions can it help treat?

NAD has been shown to improve conditions associated with:

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Muscle pain and weakness

  • Joint pain and stiffness

  • Headaches

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Alcohol and drug addiction

  • Diabetes

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Memory loss (forgetfulness)

  • Attention deficit

  • Fevers, sore throats and swollen lymph glands

  • Parkinson’s disease

  • Cancer

NAD+ Anti-Aging

Although we naturally produce NAD+ it, like most things, it reduces with age. This “miracle” molecule is mostly regarded for its effect on aging and is considered the closest we’ve gotten to a fountain of youth. Intravenous use of NAD+ activates enzymes in the bloodstream called “sirtuins” which promotes the “good” aspects of your genes which facilitates one to stay healthier for longer, reducing the side effects of aging.

Duration: 2 hours
How Often: 12 NAD infusions administered as close together as possible

NAD+ Neuro-Regenerative

With intravenous NAD+ therapy, the molecule works rapidly to repair cells throughout the body and neurons in the brain. It serves as a catalyst in ultimate brain renovation, allowing us to mentally reach higher than ever before and helps overcome depression, anxiety and common mood disorders. With optimal brain function, you can make everyday a good day.

Duration: up to 4 hours
How Often: 12 NAD infusions administered as close together as possible

NAD+ Autoimmune

Treat autoimmune conditions with 12 series of intravenous NAD+, high dose Vitamin C IV, and Mega Glutathione IV.

Duration: up to 5 hours
How Often: 12 NAD infusions administered as close together as possible

During the NAD infusion

Depending upon the dose and patient tolerance, the infusion may take 2-4 hours. Some side effects based on infusion rate include:

  • Stomach upset, abdominal cramps

  • Palpations (fluttering in chest without tachycardia)

  • Lightheadedness

  • Anxiousness

After the NAD infusion

Potential Adverse Reactions:

  • Discomfort, bruising, and pain at the site of injection

  • Inflammation of the vein used for injection, phlebitis, metabolic disturbances, and injury
